RoSPA #OSHtober campaign to spotlight dangers of driving for work
RoSPA is to use this year’s #OSHtober occupational safety and health campaign to highlight the dangers of driving for work as it looks to raise awareness.
The campaign launches today and will provide tips, facts, statistics and free resources about safely driving for work throughout the month through the Workplace Safety blog and the @RoSPAWorkplace Twitter account.
Driving for work contributes to far more work-related accidental deaths and serious injuries than all other work activities. The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) estimates that more than a quarter of all road traffic incidents may involve somebody who is driving for work.
Fleets can get involved with the campaign by signing up to RoSPA’s health and safety newsletter – Safety Matters – as well as reading the Workplace Safety blog, sharing infographics, and entering Twitter competitions – follow @RoSPAWorkplace for updates.
