Available to order in the UK from October, updated versions are marked out by new exterior lighting and alterations to the styling in line with the brand’s newest models.

The engine range also gains two options from the Megane; the TCe 120 turbocharged petrol and the dCi 110 diesel, the latter equipped with six gears instead of the five-speed transmission used on the dCi 90.

Renault says it has improved interior quality, paired with a new selection of upholsteries. Infotainment is upgraded to the latest versions of the Media Nav and R-Link systems, while entry-level models will include the app-based R&GO system as used on the Twingo.

Pricing and range details will be announced closer to the launch date, which follows the Paris Motor Show.
