Renault-Nissan signs EV research agreement with Córdoba City Council

Córdoba is the first city in Argentina, and the second in South America, after São Paulo, to sign this kind of agreement. In a determined effort to reduce emissions, the municipality has adopted short-, medium- and long-term strategic priorities to protect the environment and says it intends to support new technologies capable of cutting pollution in general and CO2
emissions in particular.

The Renault-Nissan Alliance already has strong links with the city through its Santa Isabel plant, which has been running for the last 55 years.

Under the new agremeent between the City of Córdoba and the Renault-Nissan Alliance, a joint working group will be set up to examine the viability of bringing electric vehicles in service in the city of Córdoba.

The Renault-Nissan Alliance has signed similar agreements with more than 60 municipalities, governments and other organizations worldwide.
