What is the Allstar One card?

Customers have informed us that they find using two separate cards for Allstar and Keyfuels transactions a bit cumbersome, and we have listened to this feedback and combined the two networks into one, serviced by a single card. The Allstar One card can now be used to make purchases across the entire network of 7,600 Allstar sites, which overlap with 1,760 Keyfuels sites.

What benefits can it offer to fleets?

Keyfuels customers qualify for a 2p per litre discount on all diesel purchases, and that offer will continue following the roll-out of the Allstar One card. The new card also gives Allstar customers access to the same savings on diesel fill-ups that Keyfuels customers currently enjoy. 20% of all diesel transactions made on Allstar cards are currently made at Keyfuels locations, so Allstar One will provide a real, quantifiable cost savings for fleets. With the Allstar One card, with no change in behaviour, Allstar drivers who previously did not qualify for the 2p per litre saving on diesel purchases can now benefit at Keyfuels locations.

How is access to the card and online services controlled?

Transactions made using the Allstar One card are confirmed using Chip and PIN to give more control and enhance security against fraudulent purchases. All Allstar and Keyfuels transactions are consolidated into a single Allstar One invoice to make it simple to administer and monitor through the back office. We also offer secure online account management from desktop and mobile devices so users can access their account information and manage transaction history, generate reports, and so forth.

What other services are offered through Allstar One?

The amalgamation of the two cards allows the user to create their own ‘One World’ by giving them access to a number of additional services. The Allstar One card can be used to make payments for services provided by partners including ATS Euromaster, National Windscreens, AA Breakdown and Fuel Assist, Business Mileage Monitor (to separate business and personal miles and stay HMRC compliant), and M6Toll. Epyx also offers savings of up to 20% on labour and parts for SME services when payment is made using an Allstar One card.

Are there plans to expand the Allstar One network?

All the big fuel companies are selling off sites in the UK, which hands those forecourts over to independent operators. Those operators are much more open to getting Keyfuels acceptance because they recognise the huge potential to drive customers to their sites, and from there they are brought into the Allstar One network. We are also working with our Allstar sites to try to bring them onboard with Keyfuels to deliver the diesel savings across as much of our network as possible. I don’t think the number of Keyfuels compliant sites is going to double overnight as the process can be complex, but I think we are going to chip away at it over time.
