By / 13 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

This model combines the newly developed 2.0-litre SKYACTIV-G 2.0 direct injection gasoline engine with the SKYACTIV-DRIVE six-speed automatic transmission to improve fuel consumption and performance.

Japanese buyers will also be able to exclusively specify the “intelligent-Drive Master” (i-DM), which is said to support enjoyable driving yet encourage a driving style that promotes passenger comfort and fuel economy as well. The system works by displaying driver “scores” and practical driving advice on the dashboard at the end of each journey.

The Axela goes on sale in Japan from this autumn.
