Pricing revealed for new Infiniti hybrid

By / 13 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

The hybrid, which joins the M37 and M30d models, features the Infiniti Direct Hybrid system, pairing up a 302bhp 3.5-litre V6 with a single 67bhp electric motor in a two-clutch layout said to maximise performance and efficiency and ensure silent, emissions-free running.

The electric motor alone can power the M35h at speeds up to 62mph and tests have shown that in mixed driving, the M35h is able to drive in electric-only mode for as much as 50% of the time.

The model delivers 0-62mph acceleration of 5.5 seconds with official combined fuel consumption of 40.4mpg and CO2 emissions of 162g/km, giving a 22% BiK rating and a tax bill of £4,121 a year in 2011/12 for a 40% taxpayer.

In addition the Infiniti M35h is equipped with hybrid electric power steering and regenerative braking, a hybrid dashboard display showing energy flows and a low-speed audible warning system (VSP) to help ensure the safety of pedestrians and other road users.
