Pricing announced for Kia Stinger
Order books have opened for Kia’s Stinger sports saloon; the carmaker’s first gran turismo and first rear-wheel drive car in the UK.
The Kia Stinger goes on sale next January.
On sale from 1 January and priced from £31,995, the Stinger is based on the GT Concept from the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show and will offer three trims – GT-Line, GT-Line S and GT-S – and three engines, covering a 197bhp 2.2-litre CRDi turbodiesel, 244bhp 2.0-litre four-cylinder T-GDi engine and the twin-turbo 365bhp 3.3-litre V6 T-GDi engine in the GT-S; all married up to an eight-speed automatic.
Standard equipment includes an 8.0-inch touchscreen sat nav with European mapping and a Traffic Messaging Channel as well as Kia Connected Services with TomTom features and speed camera warnings. The Stinger also offers Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality, Bluetooth with voice recognition and music streaming as well as head-up display, a reversing camera, front and rear parking sensors and a 7.0-inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT) supervision cluster.
Standard safety features include Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Driver Attention Warning and Speed Limit Information.For more of the latest industry news, click here.
