Initially the firm will be launching a series of 'very short and punchy' driver assessment and training modules on specific topics such as mobile phone usage, speed awareness, vehicle checks and hazard perception.

However, the training can also be tailored to fit a company's own vehicle policy guidelines, enabling a fleet manager to quickly evaluate the level of understanding of the policy and then provide training as to what that policy actually is.

Clients will pay £5 per login although as part of the product launch E-Training World are offering a series of four modules for £15.

Alternatively companies can have 12 modules per year, one every month emailed directly to their drivers. The modules would be timed so that if, for example, fog was forecast, drivers would be sent the Driving in Fog module, and this service is just £50 per driver per year.

'The scope of this system is incredible,' said managing director Graham Hurdle, 'because we can see it applying to all aspects of training when employers are looking to test then train all in one go.

'Because it is so flexible we can easily extend it beyond the fleet arena so that it can be used for companies' health and safety policies, their customer care processes and any aspect of business whereby you need to audit and train staff in the most efficient way.

'Businesses that require a bespoke solution for more than 30 users face no set-up costs and the system can be tailored in a matter of days.'
