Peugeot enhances rental proposition
The car manufacturer has signed a new deal with Nexus Vehicle Management to significantly increase vehicle rental business from its dealership network around the country.
Nexus will be integrating the Peugeot rental fleet into its IRIS rental management system to give Peugeot dealers leading reservations and rental management tools to be able to manage rental activity as an integral part of their business operations.
A Peugeot spokesman explained: 'The outlets have a great opportunity to provide rental services to their local markets but need the tools and expertise to do this. We, therefore, aim to increase the number of locations operating the rental programme. We also see this initiative giving us renewed focus on rental sales at a national level.
'The innovative IRIS rental management system gives our dealers the ability to manage rental transactions in a highly efficient process. In our opinion, IRIS will make the whole process of renting vehicles at Peugeot dealerships much easier and more efficient for our customers, and open up new market opportunities for our dealers.'
Nexus will also be providing valuable guidance and advice on local marketing activities that will enable Peugeot dealers to offer their customers a full range of products for their automotive needs.
'Peugeot has a very clear strategy to extend the range of services offered to customers at a local level,' confirmed Neil McCrossan, CEO, Nexus Vehicle Rental. 'Utilising IRIS, we feel very confident that Peugeot dealers will be able to add value to their existing range of services, enhancing their overall customer proposition.'
