Based on a new cloud-based IT fleet management solution, the subscription-based service – dubbed “Your Fleet Partner” – is targeted at businesses operating between 10 and 200 company cars and commercial vehicles but is said to deliver “big fleet benefits”. 

Mike Manners, managing director of Staffordshire-headquartered CBVC Vehicle Management, said: ‘Our roots are very much based in the finance broking market so we are highly experienced in delivering superb vehicle leasing rates. We have applied the same discipline to our fleet management philosophy to deliver great all round savings.

‘This attention to reducing and managing costs has been embraced as we developed our new product “Your Fleet Partner”, ensuring that members to the scheme enjoy the cost benefits usually associated and reserved for larger fleets. 

‘Our new service gives customers access to on-going support through our team of industry professionals with a wealth of fleet knowledge and experience, as well as an online vehicle management system that negates the need for organisations to introduce, host and maintain their own.’

The service is aimed at fleets with experienced fleet professionals and non-fleet professionals and can be used by fleets regardless of their acquisition method. There is a monthly fee of £6.50 + VAT per vehicle for which subscribers are able to access a comprehensive range of fleet management services from industry-leading suppliers thus accumulating major cost savings, according to the firm – it has calculated that its savings seen by its users could average more than £400 per vehicle per year across a range of fleet management services including: vehicle servicing through a network of more than 3,000 garages nationwide, accident repairs, short-term vehicle hire with access to more than 200,000 vehicles nationally and low cost windscreen and tyre replacement. Subscribers also benefit from free RAC membership on cars and smaller light commercial vehicles. 

Manners said: ‘Add the savings per vehicle up across an entire 20, 50 or 100-vehicle fleet over a three or four-year replacement cycle and they run into thousands of pounds and comfortably allow businesses to recoup the monthly fee.’ 

Further services, including fuel cards and fuel management, driver licence checking, driver training, Motor Insurance Database compliance, vehicle mileage capture, P11D report production, end of life vehicle refurbishment and vehicle policy and driver handbook design, are available at a small additional cost.
