Nissan to spotlight EV and fleet leadership credentials at GBFE 2020

Nissan’s pioneering work in both electric vehicle powertrains and advanced intelligent technologies is to come under the spotlight at this week’s Great British Fleet Event, demonstrating the carmaker’s extensive work with fleet operators.

Nissan will showcase the 100% electric LEAF at this week’s GBFE

Supported by a fleet team headed up by Peter McDonald, Nissan has the most experience of EV product and infrastructure across passenger car and light commercial vehicle fleets, backed up by heritage and expertise – the brand launched its first EV in 1947. It’s this EV specialism that will come under focus at the free-to-attend Great British Fleet Event.

Taking place this Thursday 30 January 2020, the event will see Nissan showcase both its 100% electric LEAF as well as the Next Generation Juke, to highlight the models’ strong fleet credentials.

In the case of the LEAF – Europe’s best-selling EV – this brings impressive performance and efficiency from the 40kWh version along with the new LEAF e+, which offers customers more power and driving range, with up to 240 miles on a single charge.

The second-generation Nissan Juke is now available to order

LEAF also exemplifies Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility philosophy, providing an impressive array of connectivity services including NissanConnect infotainment system featuring Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto® allowing for seamless smartphone connectivity, plus an upgraded navigation system, which features TomTom LIVE premium traffic and route optimisation, as well as the inbuilt Online Map Update facility and Chargers Location functionality.

At the Great British Fleet event, the Nissan LEAF will be joined by the Next Generation Juke, which delivers new levels of performance and ultra-responsive handling, along with advanced intelligent technologies and cutting-edge design.
