Nissan partners up with Gruau to offer refrigerated NV200

By / 14 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

The manufacturer says that the NV200's compact external dimensions and internal load space and payload make the model ideal for delivery of fresh products in urban environments.

The Nissan NV200 Refrigerated vehicle offers a 2.2m3 load volume and can accommodate different optional configurations to be adapted to the needs of different users, particularly in the catering business: shelves, intermediate floor, intermediate reinforced floors, aluminium baseboard, and waterproof floor.

The NV200 Refrigerated is equipped with a refrigeration unit provided by a Carrier or a Thermoking group, with the vehicle conversion operated by Gruau in its Esparraguera (Barcelona) plant – this is close to Nissan’s Barcelona plant, where the NV200 is produced.

'In Europe, we want to offer a reliable, agile and capable tool to the many businesses that every day make it possible to find fresh food in the busy centres of our cities,' said Dany Boulenger, general manager, marketing strategy, Nissan Motor Co, Ltd, LCV BU. 'The collaboration with Gruau gives us confidence that the quality of the NV200 Refrigerated vehicle will meet the highest Nissan standards, and surpass our customers expectations.'

The Nissan NV200 Refrigerated vehicle will be available from early 2011 across Europe.
