Nissan has appointed Csaba Vincze as its new UK fleet director with immediate effect.

Nissan has appointed Csaba Vincze as its new fleet director in the UK.

He replaces Peter McDonald, who moved to Ohme in September, and strengthens the carmaker’s work to help businesses switch to electric vehicles.

Vincze brings omni-channel experience across multiple markets in the auto sector, plus several years’ experience interacting with the manufacturer’s UK dealer network.

Most recently head of the MD office in the UK and a member of the management committee at Nissan, Vincze has also held senior positions in the brand’s Central and Eastern European region, leading its sales department and being product and fleet manager for LCVs.

Andrew Humberstone, managing director at Nissan GB, said the appointment bolsters Nissan’s work as a leading player in the transformation of UK vehicle fleets.

His appointment comes at a pivotal time for the brand, which is introducing a refreshed LCV line-up and ramping up for the upcoming arrival of two new halo products: the Ariya coupé-crossover EV and Townstar compact van, which will be available with both petrol and fully electric powertrains.

The new third-generation Qashqai will also imminently gain the brand’s e-Power full hybrid technology, which uses a larger electric motor more typical of an electric vehicle and bringing drivers the instant response of an EV but without the range anxiety.

The brand also offers a 43-strong business centre network plus customer-focused account management teams to support business partners of all shapes and sizes, supported by flexible finance arrangements provided via RCI Financial Services.
