Nexus introduces new initiatives to improve supply chain performance

By / 10 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

The corporate rental provider has collaborated with a number of its suppliers to create a series of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to benefit its fleet customers.

The IRIS rental management platform has been enhanced to allow Nexus suppliers to manage their own development, based on the KPIs and SLAs set by Nexus. Suppliers can log in to the IRIS platform and view their KPI scores in real-time, gaining a structured view of any areas requiring development and allowing the suppliers to make changes specific to this. It also allows for the benchmarking of suppliers according to the market in which they operate.

David Brennan, Nexus chief executive, said: ‘At Nexus, we work hard to ensure that our customers receive the best possible service in the vehicle rental industry. By introducing these new initiatives and enhancing our technology, we can maintain the high standards we expect from all of our suppliers.’

‘The new supply chain module in our IRIS vehicle management system along with the new SLA’s and KPI’s will not only ensure that we improve our already excellent customer service but will also improve customer retention.’
