Nexus expands team and launches new digital offering

The corporate vehicle rental provider has augmented its online rental booking system with a new Management Information (MI) suite that enables customers to more effectively manage their daily rental spend, track trends, review costs and deliver savings.

The suite also provides live data on Nexus’ own performance in terms of customer service versus rentals and reports on factors including damage expense management; drilling down into statistics such as the number of cases closed, the number of cases upheld and total rental analysis. Bespoke reports for clients can also be generated.

Nexus has also broadened its booking platform to cater for mobile and desktop users with the launch of a new mobile app, allowing customers to quickly book car rental from their mobile phone.

And the firm has also expanded its account management team with the appointments of Holly Ballantine and Amy Hanson as national account managers. Ballantine joins from Enterprise Rent-A-Car where she spent five years after joining as a graduate. Her most recent role was as branch manager at Edinburgh airport.  Hanson joins from Anglo Recycling Ltd where she was business development manager, and prior to that she spent several years working for contract hire company MNH Platinum in numerous customer-focused roles.

In addition, Danny Woolley joins as account manager from Alphabet where he held the role of corporate account executive.

Dean Rose, head of account management at Nexus, said: “The new MI suite has been designed to show customers exactly how Nexus has added value to their service, the savings they are making and where further savings can be made.

“We want to cement our software as the best rental system on the market and the new MI Suite contributes to this goal by enabling customers to self-serve.

“In tandem with this, we are investing in people who bring a wealth of industry and automotive experience to the business as this will enable us to continue to drive customer value and deliver industry-leading account management standards.”
