Next-generation RAC Telematics units to bring enhanced capabilities

RAC Telematics is to drive the data capabilities of its next-generation of units with the installation of the latest hardware solution.

The new hardware will bring increased efficiency.

Due for implementation before the end of the year, the new NC1701 chip from RAC Group company Nebula Systems will support the analysis of increased amounts of data, ensuring that potential vehicle issues can be picked up sooner. An RAC Telematics spokesperson said: “Ultimately the biggest benefit for fleets is that it should lead to less unscheduled vehicle downtime due to breakdown, therefore a more efficient running fleet and business.”For more of the latest industry news, click here.
