New Suzuki Jimny scores high RV from Cap
Suzuki’s new Jimny compact SUV has received a strong RV from Cap Automotive as it goes on sale in the UK.

Launched 20 years after the third-generation model debuted, the new Jimny (see road test here) teams up retro design with highly capable offroad skills and is now on sale in the UK powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a selectable all-wheel drive system and high and low ratio gears.
Two trims are offered. The SZ4 brings Dual Sensor Brake Support (DSBS), air con, cruise control, Bluetooth and front fog lamps while the SZ5 adds 15-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, climate control, navigation with smartphone connectivity, rear privacy glass and heated front seats.
The RV rating from Cap sees the Jimny SZ5 variant score a 52% residual value at three years/60,000 miles while the three years/36,000 miles profile gives a 61% RV; a new record for Suzuki.
