New, streamlined fleet software system to be launched by Chevin at Silverstone Fleet Show

The company is keeping details under wraps but says that it is designed to fill a niche in the sector that has hitherto been unfulfilled.

Managing director Ashley Sowerby said: “We believe that there is demand among fleets for a competitively priced, streamlined solution that provides rapid access to the latest technology and is highly effective but does not provide all of the facilities of a full enterprise-level system.

“What we have produced is probably the fastest-to-deploy enterprise fleet application on the market. It can be up-and-running and producing measurable results within a matter of days – and we will be showing it at Fleet Show 2015 for the first time.”

Other new developments on display at the Fleet Show at Silverstone on 12 May will be the latest version of the Chevin’s FleetWave Mobile in its latest HTML5 iteration, designed to work as an iOS or Android mobile data capture device either standalone or linked to Chevin’s FleetWave enterprise level fleet management system.

Sowerby continued: “We are starting to see the first orders for FleetWave Mobile as the market comes to recognise the advantages of this kind of highly flexible product.

“Delegates to Fleet Show will also be able to try features such as signature capture for orders and deliveries, mileage claims, vehicle inspections with pictures and more. It can be configured to do almost anything in terms of data capture.”

Finally, Chevin will also be offering show visitors a selection of delicious company-branded brownies and cupcakes – and there will be a competition to win £50 worth of Amazon vouchers.
