New service takes hassle out of grey fleet checks

A new solution that enables fleets to automatically collect and store grey fleet documentation to aid Duty of Care checks has launched.

The new feature means fleets can automatically collect and store grey fleet documents

Developed by finance and HR cloud tech specialist Selenity, the Vehicle Check feature has been added to the firm’s Expenses cloud-based service as a standard feature and means customers can automatically retrieve and check the validity of MOT and TAX, all from an employee’s car registration number. In addition, full vehicle details can also retrieved, including CO2 emissions for accurate data on an employee’s usage.

A future update will also address driver risk assessments to help fleets enhance their occupational road risk management.

Neil Everatt, CEO at Selenity, said: “Selenity is committed to providing the most accurate and efficient Duty of Care service for organisations dealing with business travel. This next stage in the Expenses Driver and Vehicle Check service will help our customers with their Duty of Care obligations and enable them to more efficiently and cost effectively manage their drivers and vehicles.”
