New role for Drive Software Solutions’ Simon West-Oliver

Drive Software Solutions has promoted director of sales and marketing, Simon West-Oliver, to the newly created role of marketing director.

The role will see West-Oliver take on responsibility for driving a marketing strategy targeted at achieving sustainable growth and accelerating the brand towards its 5% UK market share goal.

West-Oliver has nearly 30 years of automotive technology marketing experience. In 1988 he launched the FOCIS (Fleet Operators Computerised Information System) within the standalone micro-based solutions space. He also helped drive the use of fleet telematics and fuel management solutions with Tektronix and the Euro group. West-Oliver joined FCS Computer Services in 1996 to launch the Drive product before becoming sales and marketing director for Kewill/Swisslog and managing director of OBS.
