New research pinpoints busiest time for roads over Christmas
That’s the finding of car finance provider Zuto, which has found that more than half of the population will be travelling to see friends and family.
A total of 34% of those polled will be driving to visit parents while a quarter (26%) will be spending Christmas with friends instead of family.
Nearly a third (29%) of the nation will be travelling more than 50 miles this Christmas whilst those from York will be travelling furthest with 28% driving 90 miles or more to get ‘home’ this Christmas.
