New online calculator reveals how TMC can cut fleet costs

Fuel and mileage expense management specialist TMC has introduced a new online calculator that shows fleets the potential savings from switching to its solutions.

The new calculator estimates fuel cost savings for different vehicle and driver segments, and forms part of a complete redesign of the TMC site

The new calculator, part of TMC’s new website at www.themilesconsultancy.com, gives estimates of fuel cost savings for different vehicle and driver segments – commercial vehicles, company cars, fully-expensed and private-mileage-deducted fuel cards, plus grey fleet – and, acording to Paul Hollick, managing director of TMC, can indicate significant savings.

He explained: “Before and after costs from over 300 current clients shows an average saving of 15.4% between those of a typical fleet and one that has implemented our audited mileage capture and related solutions. Given that fuel is the second or third largest fleet cost for most businesses, the scale of potential fuel savings is usually very significant compared to other areas of fleet.”

TMC’s new website enables visitors to navigate by fleet type – which covers commercial vehicles, public sector, rental companies and dealerships as well as all car fleet segments – or by products and services; which includes TMC’s growing range of solutions in areas such as mobility, compliance and legacy supplier billing and inventory management as well as the company’s ‘IQ’ family of tax-efficient solutions.
