New Nissan Qashqai: Pricing and trims confirmed

Nissan’s third-generation Qashqai is now on sale, priced from £23,535.

Revealed earlier this year, the new model is offered from launch with a 1.3 DiG-T 12V mild hybrid petrol engine in 140 and 156hp variants, with a six-speed manual transmission for the former and Xtronic automatic transmission for the latter. They’re both offered with two-wheel drive, with an all-wheel drive version of the higher-powered engine.

Five trims are on offer – Visia, Acenta Premium, N-Connecta, Tekna and Tekna+. Prices rise to just under £38,000 for range-topping Tekna+ Xtronic Automatic versions.

A limited number of Premiere Edition models are still being offered from £29,275 for the 1.3 DiG-T 140hp mild hybrid manual or £31,795 for the 1.3 DiG-T 158hp Xtronic automatic model.

Andrew Humberstone, managing director, said: “The Nissan Qashqai has been the best-seller in its class since 2007, and for good reason. Now with the arrival of the third-generation model, Nissan is setting a new crossover standard for distinctive design, dynamic handling and advanced technologies, all at an accessible and attractive price point. Consumers want uncompromising comfort, connectivity and safety from their personal mobility – the new Qashqai absolutely delivers on all these requirements.”
