New inspection app developed to bring huge benefits for fleet industry
The app has been configured specifically for Manheim Remarketing although the core system can easily be tailored for bespoke requirements.
The app uses the latest digital technology and hi-resolution images to enable users to swiftly document the condition of a vehicle at roadside. Wi-Fi and 3/4G connectivity ensures all data is instantly transferred from the inspection location to Manheim’s central system.
After a trial period whereby the system has been rolled out across Manheim’s entire UK operation, the company has now adopted it for all of its inspection services which will see it used on more than 500,000 vehicles this year alone.
The new app is also used by a number of leasing companies and auction houses, and identifies, records and prices individual vehicle damage as well capturing a range of vehicle data from condition of tyres through to MoT/service needs, options and accessories fitted.
