New Glass’s TradeAlerts tool provides direct defleet route with dealers

By / 10 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

TradeAlerts enable firms to de-fleet and dispose of vehicles through direct communication with dealers based on a simple and easy-to-use system of email alerts.

Dan Parnell, head of fleet & finance at Glass’s, said: ‘In both fleet and finance, effective remarketing is vitally important. We work hard to help our customers improve their business processes, and this is what TradeAlerts is all about. Having a direct line into dealers means remarketing teams can move vehicles more quickly and reduce handling costs … thereby improving profitability.’

Users of the system will also have access to live retail pricing data through GlassNet Radar, enabling them to understand retail potential of individual vehicles both locally and nationally.

Parnell continued: ‘This tool will allow fleets to diversify disposal routes to maximise returns, out-perform auction disposal values and reduce holding costs by establishing buyers in advance. And on the finance side businesses will also benefit from mitigating potential loses and maximising the capital returns of repossessions and recoveries.’

TradeAlerts will be offered free of charge to all GlassNet users until July 2014. Call 01932 823 823 or email [email protected] to find out more.
