New fleet marketing and motability manager at Vauxhall

Vauxhall has appointed Richard Roberts as its new fleet marketing and motability manager, effective 1 January 2017.

Roberts brings a wealth of experience gained from working across the Vauxhall and GM mutli-brand business ranging from regional retail sales and aftersales operations, to central forecast and business planning.

Most recently, he was the fleet national contract hire and leasing Manager responsible for managing the relationship between Vauxhall and UK leasing companies.

In his new role he is responsible for Vauxhall’s fleet marketing and operations, Motability sales and fleet sales order fulfilment.

“Richard starts his new role at a very exciting time for Vauxhall with five major product launches in 2017, that will see us add to our range and enter new segments,” said James Taylor, Vauxhall’s fleet sales director.

“The all-new Insignia, in Grand Sport, Sports Tourer and Country Tourer body styles, plus the Crossland X and Grandland X are all in the pipeline next year. New product aside, Richard brings experience and knowledge of Vauxhall, its customers and our business networks, that is certain to strengthen the UK motor industry’s strongest fleet sales operation.”
