New fleet e-modules combat common minor damage accidents

By / 8 years ago / Latest News / No Comments

The courses have been created by the online driver profiling and training specialists in response to customer demand due to the very high frequency of these types of events occurring to business drivers on a day-to-day basis.

‘Rear-end collisions and minor damage as a result of poor manoeuvring skills in car parks and other restricted spaces, involve companies in a great deal of time and expense,’ commented Graham Hurdle, managing director of E-Training World.

‘As a result, we have developed these new e-modules to help educate drivers of the causes of these incidents, more often a lack of concentration and anticipation, and how to avoid them.’

Each E-Training World e-module asks drivers a series of multiple choice questions linked directly to every-day motoring situations, followed by full explanations regarding key aspects of safe and careful driving in these circumstances.

Bespoke company modules focusing on the issue of rear-end collisions and driving in car parks are the latest additions to an ever-growing portfolio of web-based training programmes designed by E-Training World to reduce accidents, improve safety and drive down costs for its clients.

‘Even small knocks and scrapes can be extremely expensive to repair,’ continued Hurdle, ‘particularly if they sit underneath the typical insurance excess, which means the company has to fork out for the damage in full.

‘Our e-modules help to address this and we are delighted with the great feedback we continue to receive for our online driver risk assessments and e-driver training.’

E-Training World offers an extensive suite of e-driver training courses on topics including speed awareness, use of mobile phones, hazard perception, driving in adverse weather plus a whole host of other topics.
