The branch will offer all forms of vehicle rental – from hybrid and electric vehicles to hourly hire and long-term rental – with Europcar UK offering Milton Keynes residents and businesses discounted rates for its range of electric vehicles during March.

Gary Smith, managing director, Europcar UK Group welcomed local MPs, Mark Lancaster MP and Iain Stewart MP to the new branch.

“Milton Keynes has an international reputation for adopting sustainable green technologies and recently secured the award of Go Ultra Low City status,” he said. “We believe it is, therefore, the right location in which to open our newest branch, which demonstrates our commitment to creating sustainable mobility solutions and integrating car rental into the public transport infrastructure.”

“This branch is part of Europcar’s vision for connected transport across the UK,” added Smith. “We are proud to be the first vehicle hire company at Milton Keynes Central railway station, putting us at the heart of the community. And the development of our zero emissions fleet means customers can reduce their carbon footprint too.”
