Expected to enable public sector organisations to save £3 for every £1 invested, the agreement has been developed in conjunction with police, ambulance, local government and central government customers and features a range of suppliers, all of which are small and medium sized businesses.

The agreement covers one lot, featuring 11 suppliers, including ALD Automotive, APD Communications, Ashwoods and Ctrack. The agreement is valid until 25/04/2020.

In a statement Crown Commercial Service outlined the “significant” benefits that the technology can bring, including potential reduction of insurance premiums, improved safety through better understanding of driver behaviour, reduced emissions, help with expenses and tax returns and enabling whole-life cost analysis and management.
