New CCS government vehicle hire agreement includes car sharing & ULEVs

The new agreement covers a wide range of vehicles including passenger vehicles, off road 4x4s, minibuses and heavy goods vehicles and also includes access to electric and ultra low emission vehicles.

Highlights also include a new car sharing option, which gives customers access to a shared fleet of vehicles, along with pay as you go models, which have been shown to save 20-30% in mileage and to help with reducing use of grey fleet vehicles.

Other features include price protection for four years and international vehicle hire.

The agreement coves 12 suppliers, of which six are new to the vehicle hire agreement. CCS also highlighted the inclusion of two SMEs amongst the line-up: Co-Wheels and Nexus Vehicle Management Ltd.
