New Allstar One Card launched

The Allstar One Card is said to provide access to the largest and most convenient fuel network in the UK, with nearly 8,000 sites across the UK. Customers also have access to over 1,800 sites where they can purchase discount diesel, typically at two pence per litre cheaper than pump price.

The card also features Chip and PIN technology to increase security and reduce the risk of fraud, with additional online authorisation and transaction limit settings available to increase control even further.

The Allstar One card can also be used to pay for a range of products and services as well. This includes glass repair and replacement, tyre services from ATS Euromaster, AA breakdown and fuel assist, M6toll payment and a recently launched Service, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) offering; a solution that can save businesses up to 20% off their SMR costs against the retail cost of the work.

Customers can also take advantage of Allstar’s Ecopoint scheme, which enables businesses to capture the carbon emissions of their fleets, adding to their ‘green’ credentials.

In addition, customers will be able to utilise Allstar’s Business Mileage Monitor (BMM) service – an automated system to ensure accurate reporting and payment of business and private fuel.

And the company also promises further developments, including the launch of a ‘Rental’ service later this year.

Peter Bridgen, Allstar’s managing director, said: “The launch of the Allstar One card is all about offering our customers more choice, more convenience and further control. We know that some just want a simple fuel card, and that’s fine, whilst others are beginning to see the real cost and time saving benefits of using their fuel card for additional services, particularly as this also comes through on one Allstar HMRC approved VAT invoice, which saves costly administration time.

“By having all of these products and services on one card, our customers can easily tailor the services they want to use to meet their business requirements. Allstar will also work in partnership with them to ensure our solution is exactly what they need.

“The launch of this solution, which will also include adding a new ‘Rental’ service later this year, is just the start though. There are more exciting developments in the pipeline as we move the business to becoming a comprehensive mobility solutions provider in 2016 and beyond.”
