Low-emission car hire firm Green Motion has opened a second branch in Manchester as it continues to expand its network.

The new site is convenient for Manchester Piccadilly station, complementing the location of the first branch at Manchester Airport

The new Manchester Piccadilly site, which is located at Peary Street car park on Rochdale Road, has launched with a fleet of 15 cars, which will expand to 35 in March and 70 by July. It joins the existing branch at Manchester Airport.

Both sites are run by franchisees Ben Hunter and Lucy Beasley, who commented: “The airport branch has been very successful, and we anticipate that the more centrally located site will be equally popular. People are increasingly seeking to reduce their carbon footprint and using Green Motion is one way that they can help achieve that.”
