Motiva launches new-look fleet management package designed to rival best in business
The vehicle solutions firm has redeveloped existing products and built others from scratch to create a comprehensive programme aimed at maximising operating efficiency and cost control.
It has also revealed plans to integrate the new package with the company’s Motrak telematics system to create an ‘all-encompassing’ service thought to be virtually unique in today’s market.
Motiva claims it’s a proposition which can put the company on a par with the biggest of its kind in the UK and is confident it can fuel its ambition for major growth.
Jane White, fleet and risk management specialist at Motiva Group, said: “We’ve now built a dedicated programme that’s so strong that we can provide bespoke fleet management for all our clients – whether they’re used as stand-alone products or inclusively as part of a complete package.”
Motiva’s existing fleet management products, including in-life vehicle management, maintenance and repair, have been retained and improved.
But the company’s new proposition – categorised into three levels – covers the entire spectrum of fleet and risk management. It includes much more detailed Management Information packs, risk management software, driver profiling, specific grey fleet solutions and wider consultancy to suit the bespoke requirements of each clients’ business.
Jane White added: “We’re now able to bring everything into one place to provide a bird’s eye view of how a fleet is performing on a monthly basis with the ability to drill right down to granular detail. Our system will identify areas where potentially significant savings can be made, both in time and costs – it can be hugely beneficial.
“And as well as producing tools to identify issues with a fleet, we are also offering follow-up consultations and resolutions – that’s something quite new to the market.”
Motiva’s plan to add telematics into the mix will also help lift it above its competitors, according to White.
She said: “Motiva is one of very few vehicle solutions companies that has their own in-house telematics product and our Motrak Fleet Monitoring system is one of the best live tracking tools around.
“The more information we have from a fleet, the more effective we can be and, by combining fleet management and telematics services, our clients will pay a single monthly fee for one of the most inclusive and cost-effective solutions on the market.”
Peter Wright, sales and marketing director at Motiva Group, believes the new fleet management package will play a key role in the company’s plans for expansion.
He said: “We’ve built an extensive line-up of services that we hope will attract new customers and encourage existing clients to extend the amount of business they do with us and the new fleet management package is a key part of that.”
