Among the largest SUVs on the Motability scheme, the Outlander PHEV brings a five-star Euro-NCAP safety rating along with an official combined fuel consumption of 148mpg and emissions from 44g/km of CO2. It also offers an electric-only range of 32.5 miles and is available with an advance payment of £1, 99.

Lance Bradley, managing director of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, said: ‘We are very pleased to see the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV on the Motability scheme – it represents Mitsubishi’s strongest Motability offering ever. I’d encourage any motorists that are eligible for the scheme to visit a Mitsubishi dealership for a test drive. It’s a remarkable vehicle that has already proved extremely popular.’

The Outlander PHEV joins other Mitsubishi vehicles on the Motability scheme including the Outlander diesel, the ASX active sports crossover and the super-mini Mirage.
