Mitsubishi and PSA expand EV collaboration

The two manufacturers have started a feasibility study that will include an analysis on the packaging of batteries and its business viability.

Mitsubishi and PSA have said that they are already in discussions to expand their existing current collaboration on electric vehicles and have previously agreed to work together to develop and supply electric vehicles for Europe. The jointly developed European models, the Peugeot iOn and Citroen C-ZERO, will be based on Mitsubishi's i-MiEV electric vehicle and will go on sale at the end of this year.
