Industry stalwart Mike Wise has assumed a board-level role at vGroup International as the company embarks on latest expansion plans.

Wise brings a 37-year automotive industry career, including roles as director at epyx, head of Kwik Fit’s fleet division and managing director of ATS Euromaster. More recently he has been working with industry colleagues to develop online platforms in various market sectors.

His appointment comes as vGroup implements a complete sales restructure covering the creation of three autonomous divisions, including vGroup International, which includes vLease and mobile accessory fitment service vComms. The other divisions comprise P1 Limited for retail and Middleton Manufacturing, which manufactures car mats and other vehicle accessories.

Wise joins the firm as group sales director and will hold responsibility for overseeing the integration into the group of the recent Cosmos Motor Accessories and Middleton Manufacturing acquisitions, as well as driving further developments.

Additionally, vGroup International sales and customer service director Vicky Arnold is leaving the company to take up a new role within the automotive industry.
