MG kicks off MG Lease scheme with low-cost fleet deal on MG6

The scheme offers fleets access to the MG6 GT five-door fastback and Magnette four-door sports saloon with the company’s new DTi-TECH diesel from £210 a month +VAT.

The inhouse 1.9-litre DTi-TECH diesel variable rate turbocharged diesel engine delivers 150PS with 350Nm of torque at 1,800rpm. This gives a 0-62mph time of 8.9 seconds and a top speed of 120mph, whilst also delivering a combined fuel consumption of 53.5 mpg and CO2 emissions of 139g/100km, helped by its Stop-Start technology and Smart Charging system.

MG says it expects the leasing scheme to prove popular with fleets looking for a high-spec performance driving experience with the lowest overall running costs in the sector.

Richard Bourton, MG’s business & used car sales manager, added: ‘The diesel MG6 offers business users an exciting new option from the iconic MG brand. Compared to the competition, we offer high specification, low BIK and list prices, class-leading insurance and low repair and maintenance costs, making us great value for money as well as great fun to drive!’

Nigel Fletcher, deputy managing director of ALD Automotive UK – which operates the scheme, said: ‘We are delighted with this scheme and I think that it will be extremely popular with business users, especially when you look at the excellent value-for-money package offered on MG cars.’

Prices start from £210 a month on an MG6 GT DTi-TECH model in S-level trim and go up to £240 a month for the top-of-the-range MG6 Magnette DTi-TECH.

The prices are valid until the end of the second quarter of 2013 and are based on 35 monthly rental payments on a 30,000-mile contract and include a one-off first payment.
