The partnership will see Leasedrive provide support to Mercedes-Benz Financial Services and is intended to help it to respond with even greater efficiency to the requirements of fleet customers and recognise the financing and service requirements of modern fleet operators.

In a statement the company said: ‘The move will allow Mercedes-Benz fleet customers greater flexibility and range in their financing and servicing options – as well as benefiting from the experience and expertise of Leasedrive in the leasing sector. Mercedes-Benz Financial Services provides support to Mercedes-Benz UK, allowing it to build on the momentum already achieved as it became the UK’s fastest-growing premium brand in 2012.’

The announcement comes as Mercedes-Benz UK, led by head of fleet sales Nick Andrews, scooped the “Most Improved Fleet Manufacturer” Award in the annual Fleet World Honours, recognising the progress made by the brand.

Nick Andrews commented: ‘We have ambitious plans for the future, supported by the strongest range of products we’ve ever had. Mercedes-Benz is already the fastest-growing premium manufacturer in the UK and now my team is focused on allowing it to become the number one premium fleet manufacturer in the UK. Retaining our current customers and attracting new business in the fleet sector means delivering a relevant, high-quality, efficient and responsive service and we’re setting in place measures to ensure we hit these targets.’ 

The partnership with Leasedrive will start in the autumn.
