The team reports to national fleet sales sales manager Sally Dennis, and the UK into regions comprising Scotland and Northern Ireland, Northern England, Midlands and North Wales, East Midlands and North London, South East and South London and South West and Wales. A new head of public sector affairs has also been appointed, with a role including re-establishing Mercedes-Benz with blue light fleets.

Mercedes-Benz UK has recorded a 12.2% growth in fleet sales this year under new head of fleet Nick Andrews (pictured), and launched its Direct Sales Programme in April. By 2017, the manufacturer is aiming for the largest share of the premium-brand fleet sector, while continuing to restrict Motability and rental volumes to protect residual values.

‘The new Strategic Account Management team highlights continued progress at Mercedes-Benz UK and promises to both give our customers the level of dedicated service they deserve, as well as enable us to become easier to do business with,’ Andrews said.

‘We are looking to build on the strong sales success we have been enjoying and with our new team of talented and experienced strategic account managers I believe we have the ability to grow sales even further. The improvements we have made this year are indicators that Mercedes-Benz is continuing to strive for excellence in customer service for its fleet customers.’
