The CX-5 is the first of a new generation of Mazda products that will adopt the full range of Mazda’s breakthrough “SKYACTIV TECHNOLOGY” and new design theme, “KODO – Soul of Motion”.

Introduced to global markets from early 2012, The CX-5 will include Mazda’s SKYACTIV-G 2.0 gasoline engine and SKYACTIV-D 2.2 diesel engine available in standard power and high power versions.

Mazda has focused on achieving exceptional environmental performance for a compact SUV and has targeted CO2 emissions of less than 120g/km for the SKYACTIV-D 2.2 engine model.
