Bristow will join BCA as manufacturer sales director reporting to BCA sales director, Craig Purvey, and will take responsibility for BCA’s strategic relationships with manufacturer customers and their associated finance companies. He will also head up BCA’s manufacturer sales team.

Craig Purvey, sales director, BCA commented: “We are delighted to welcome Matt Bristow to BCA. He brings a wealth of experience and market knowledge to our sales team which will prove invaluable as we continue to secure significant new contracts in the manufacturer and captive finance sectors.”

Bristow has worked for BMW for 16 years and in that time has worked in roles with Alphabet, BMW Financial Services as well as BMW UK, across pricing, used cars and latterly corporate sales.

His last role as general manager for corporate sales saw the company’s fleet sales grow by 43% at a time of increased competition within the segment.

In a statement, the carmaker said: “BMW Group wishes Bristow well in his new role and will recruit a replacement in due course.”
