CD Auction Group has been appointed to manage Marshall Leasing’s requirement for in-life vehicle management of their client’s spare vehicles.

Marshall Leasing operates a fleet of over 8,000 vehicles with a net book value of approximately £100m and following a review of its pool fleet management service, it has opted to outsource the process to CD Auction Group

Through CD Auction Group’s pool fleet management service, Marshall Leasing will have access to secure vehicle storage, vehicle inspection reports, vehicle body repairs, vehicle maintenance and vehicle valeting.

Marshall Leasing will be able to make use of the system’s full access and visibility 24/7 of the vehicles managed through the process, while also allowing the scheduling of repairs via CD’s team or via third party suppliers. CD Auction Group will also provide administration and technical support.

Along with parent company, SMH Fleet Solutions, CD Auction Group manages vehicles on behalf of leasing companies and corporate clients through its online pool fleet management system. The branded system enables customers to request collection or delivery of vehicles, view and track vehicles through the workshop inspection, refurbishment, repair and valeting process, the company said.
