Hankey originally joined BCA in 1992, as Dealer Development Manager for the North & Scotland. Since then, he held numerous positions in all market sectors for BCA, including National Sales Manager and ultimately appointed UK Sales Director in 2005.

He last worked for BCA in 2012, leaving for Australia with his family that year.

Prior to joining BCA he held sales management roles with ACL and Interleasing. Latterly he held a Sales Director role for Cox/Manheim in Australia.

BCA Executive Chairman, Avril Palmer-Baunack commented: “His extensive experience across a broad range of disciplines will prove very useful as BCA continues to work with OEMs, fleet operators and dealers to provide value and efficiency across the UK’s automotive supply chain.”
