Lee Giddings heads up new fleet team at Suzuki

Suzuki GB has promoted Lee Giddings to lead its newly restructured fleet team.

Lee Giddings, national fleet sales manager at Suzuki GB

The changes, which follows the departure of former head of fleet and remarketing Graeme Jenkins at the end of 2020, see Giddings become national fleet sales manager with immediate effect.

Giddings joined the carmaker in 2017 as contract hire, leasing & Motability manager and has developed excellent relationships with the leasing industry and end-user customers during this time.

Prior to joining Suzuki, Giddings spent 13 years at Toyota & Lexus GB, working in various roles within the fleet department, culminating as area fleet sales manager.

In his new role, he will use his sector knowledge, experience and understanding of the Suzuki brand to lead the team onwards with its full range of ‘Fit for Fleet’ models.

Giddings will be supported in his new role by contract hire, leasing & cost of ownership manager Tony Miller and Suzy Swift, who has recently been promoted to contract hire, leasing & public sector manager.

Tony Miller is responsible for the leasing industry in the North of England and will continue his work with Suzuki Contract Hire and working closely with the industry guides to help improve residual value and cost of ownership position.

Suzy Swift, who has in-depth knowledge of the fleet industry particularly the public sector, will be responsibile for driving forward volume with leasing partners in the South.

A spokesperson for the carmaker said: “These positive changes will ensure Suzuki has stability and confidence moving forward, continuing to grow fleet volume and share in the correct channels, working in close partnership with the dealer network and adding further incremental volume.”
