LeasePlan reports tendering success for specialist public sector division

The move sees Automotive Leasing selected as a preferred supplier for:

  • Lot 1: Lease of passenger motor vehicles and light commercial vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes, including cars, vans, 4x4s, alternatively fuelled vehicles (e.g. hybrids, electric) and converted vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes
  • Lot 2: Lease of commercial vehicles 3.5 tonnes and above, including buses, coaches, trailers and municipal vehicles
  • Lot 3: Fleet management services

The associated services include service maintenance and repair, sale and lease back and salary sacrifice.

The framework is effective from 16 May 2015 and as part of the new agreement the frameworks can be used across the sector. This includes those in the local Government, health, education, not-for-profit and devolved administration arenas, as well as Central Government departments.

Tim Meadows, director at Automotive Leasing, said: “Our proven expertise in the public and not-for-profit sector has been further recognised with our listing on all three lots within this significant Vehicle Lease and Fleet Management Framework from CCS.

“Following the General Election, the public sector remains under immense pressure to drive down operating costs and Automotive Leasing’s unique fleet insight means we are ideally placed to assist with this vital work over the next three years.”
