The leasing giant said the three new suppliers, which replace Kwik-Fit, will bring it an increased UK-wide capability and coverage for both cars and commercial vehicle tyre replacement and repairs.

Drivers can contact suppliers by phone or by app and place their requirements. They will then be allocated a supplier that is best able to meet their individual needs.

LeasePlan added that the new network provides a number of benefits:

  • Improved light commercial vehicle offering
  • Joined-up approach to vehicle servicing and tyre replacement
  • Enhanced nationwide coverage
  • Same day mobile offering
  • Guaranteed booking slots
  • Replacement tyres waiting on arrival

Neil Dixon, head of procurement and supplier management at LeasePlan UK, said: “We are delighted to announce the appointment of ATS, National Tyres and Fleet Tyre Network as LeasePlan’s new tyre fitment suppliers for 2016 and beyond. Following a rigorous selection process, we awarded the business to the three suppliers that demonstrated the scale, capability and great customer service necessary to meet the needs of our drivers, regardless of their location or vehicle type.

“LeasePlan is committed to delivering a high quality driver experience. We demand an innovative, customer-focused approach to the management of our drivers’ vehicles, and it is vital that our suppliers share this ethos. We are therefore confident this network will bring significant benefits to our customers.”
