The event saw over 200 guests invited to the new showroom on 30th May , including comedian and Bolton Kia customer Dave Spikey, the Mayor of Horwich Christine Roots and Lady Mayoress Patricia Holmes as well as Kia representatives Paul Philpott (president & CEO), Yaser Shabsogh (commercial director) and James Cho (chief executive coordinator).

The highlight of the evening was the surprise unveiling of the pro_cee’d GT –  currently the only one in Europe and not available to buy until July 2013.

The event also provided the chance to see the new showroom, which has doubled in size following a five-month overhaul and now offers:

  • Handover bays for customers to collect their new cars, enabling them to have a thorough look at their vehicles before driving away in their new Kia
  • A spacious interior offering room for 16 vehicles
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi access for visitors

Alex Purdie, dealer principal at Bolton Kia, commented: ‘We are delighted with our new home! The possibility of doubling the size of our dealership is testament to how hard the team at Bolton Kia works together and how supportive the local community has been over the years. The opening events were a real success and we had a lot of fun celebrating with so many guests. Now, it’s business as usual and we’re looking forward to welcoming our customers into the expanded premises, offering them the family-like care and service that they are used to.’
