Keith Allen joins CBVC in consultancy role

Well-known senior industry figure Keith Allen has joined CBVC Vehicle Management as a consultant to help further develop the business.

Keith Allen has more than 35 years’ experience in the fleet and financial markets

Allen brings more than 35 years’ experience in the fleet and financial markets. He was most recently managing director of fleet management provider ARI Fleet UK, covering the period from 2013 to 2019. Prior to that he held the role of managing director of ALD Automotive for 13 years, after some three years as finance director there, and served as chairman of the BVRLA’s leasing and fleet management committee from 2013-2015. He has also previously held several managerial positions with Ernst & Young.

In his new role at corporate and personal leasing broker CBVC, Allen will help the business grow both its established corporate leasing brokerage operation and its growing personal contract hire and leasing brand, Leasing Gorilla.

Mike Manners, managing director of CBVC, said: “Whilst the majority of the market was flat in 2019, CBVC saw a 64% growth in business, with both our corporate fleet and our personal leasing arms performing well.

“Now, we wish to build on this success, and see Keith’s appointment and his vast industry experience as a fundamental building block in strengthening the executive team and helping build upon the expansion we have seen in the last 12 months.”

Allen will work with the senior team at CBVC for 4-5 days a month, in both a consultative capacity as well as undertaking specific project roles.

“I am very excited to be able to support a growing fleet brokerage business that is well placed to take advantage of the rapid increase in consumer leasing and its highly personalised SME corporate leasing offering,” said Allen.

“I look forward to helping Mike Manners and his team grow the business and realise their undoubted potential,” he added.
