Joe Howick joins FleetEurope as chief operating officer

Howick’s experience includes almost two decades at the rental management division of Leasedrive. Having first joined in 1996, Howick was involved with the acquisition of the business by private equity investor HgCapital in 2013. Howick then earned a board position with Zenith in 2014, following the merger of Leasedrive and Zenith.

In his new role as chief operating officer at Buckinghamshire-based fleet services provider FleetEurope, Howick will be instrumental in operations going forward as the firm grows and expands.

Howick commented: “I am delighted to be joining the FleetEurope team at a time of significant growth. I have respected the business for the past 20 years and we share a number of fundamental values. I am particularly impressed with the depth of knowledge in the business; with the average staff retention rate of almost 10 years.”

John Yarroll, chairman and CEO at FleetEurope, added: “We are thrilled to welcome someone of Joe’s calibre as a fellow board member. His credentials are second to none in the Rental Management arena. We have very exciting growth plans including launching some innovative new products and services and know that his appointment will help us achieve these goals.”
