JLR’s InMotion Ventures division has launched an unlimited motoring subscription car service for high-mileage drivers

Dubbed Carpe, the service enables drivers to subscribe to driving a brand-new Jaguar or Land Rover for 12 months with no deposit. The all-inclusive, unlimited motoring package covers vehicle, servicing, maintenance, insurance, roadside assistance and delivery, and enables subscribers to get a new car every year with the ability to tailor specifications.

Prices start from £910 per month for a standard-spec Jaguar E-PACE through to £2,200 per month for a range-topping Range Rover Sport HSE (excluding VAT).

Sebastian Peck, managing director, InMotion Ventures, said: “We know there is appetite for unlimited motoring packages and demand is growing rapidly for subscription services that better meet individual needs. For people who love driving premium vehicles but are tired of inflexible contracts, a subscription to Carpe is the solution. We aim to give our customers as much flexibility, freedom and choice as we can.”

The launch of the new service follows comments from JLR last year that it sees huge opportunities to grow volume among cash-allowance drivers, with UK managing director, Jeremy Hicks, predicting growing numbers will opt out of company car schemes over the coming years.

Earlier this year, BMW and Mini entered the car subscription sector under partnership with Drover.
